  • SKYY Blue Velvet Social Engagement
When the Limited Edition SKYY Vodka Blue Velvet Bottle became available during the holiday season, each bottle purchased would donate a portion of the proceeds to the Foundation for AIDS Research. In order to promote the launch of the bottle and raise awareness of this charitable cause, an exclusive social content strategy was developed to get Facebook fans inspired to gift wrap these premium bottles in a flirtatious and creative way.

My role was to brainstorm gift wrapping ideas, wrapping/photo styling as well as photographing the bottles, and finally producing the imagery for Facebook.

  • NYSBA Website Redesign
For over 100 years, the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) has shaped the development of law and elevated the standards of integrity, honor, professional skill. An organization that prides itself on cultivating the science of jurisprudence and educating legal professionals as well as the public.

The main objective was to design a responsive website that creates a more organized, easy-to-use informational architecture while giving the layout a more progressive style that will appeal to both law students and seasoned legal professionals.

  • FOGG Art Museum Redesign
Two pages I redesigned while learning Web Design in art school. With this color palette as well as the use of geometric shapes my goal was to evoke apart of art history, such as Russian Constructivism.

  • MIT's Koch Institute Photobook Jacket
A follow colleague at MIT's Office of Communications was creating a photo book to most likely be given as gifts to donors and contributors of the Institute. She decided the book needed a designers touch for the jacket and asked me if I would mind taking a stab at it. Of course, I jumped at the chance and the only direction I was given was that the client prefers designs that are more reserved and clean.

I tried flushing out three different concepts I had in mind.

Concept 1: Focuses on using the Koch Institute's logo as a book cover.

Concept 2: Takes inspiration from the facade of the building, using the windows as a design element with photos of the interior cover and exterior looking out within the shelves.

Concept 3: Using the main lobby (giant petri dish-art gallery) of the building as a design motif with a beautifully taken photograph of the building provided by hired photographer.

In the end, I decided to only show the client the two strongest design which I felt were concepts two and three. The client was very pleased with concept two but requested different imagery such as researchers at work and presto!

  • MIT's Emma Rogers Society Handbook
The Emma Rogers Society was established as a way to keep widows of MIT alumni and faculty members connected to the Institute in their own right. After the Institute learns of the death of an alumnus or alumna, the society then sends an information packet to his/her spouse. Within that packet is a handbook to inform the widow/widower of what services The Emma Rogers Society offers and how it was founded.

The Senior Graphic Designer, Eric Keezer and I were given the opportunity to redesign the folder as well as the mailers contained within it. My job specifically was to redesign the booklet and collaborated on the folder.

My inspiration was influenced by small elements from the logo which I carried out in the ornamental pattern throughout each page including the decorative frame surrounding Emma's portait . For me, it reflected not only the era that Emma Rogers was alive but also the idea of portraits or photos attached with loving and cherish memories.

  • Generations of MIT
Below is a note card set for the Office of Communications at MIT, the purpose of which are to send personal thank you letters to donors and/or past alumni from the department's Gift Officers. The objective was to create a set of cards that would capture the rich history and character of the institute and hence the theme "Generations of MIT" was born. The set of cards are divided into two decks, "Looking Back" (Represented in gray) and "Looking Forward" (in red.) All photos were supplied by MIT students and/or hired photographers.

  • Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Packaging
Print work I designed and assembled as a student. This packaging includes one standard shopping bag, a poster bag, gift enclosure and tissue paper which maintain a grudge-like feel using tattered type and cut up photographs of inductees from the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame.

A poetry book I designed as a student. Using old fashioned Western type and black-and-white photography I have captured the nostalgia of a Cowboy's lifestyle.

  • Summer House Identity
Originally, The Summer House re-brand was an in-class assignment to test the students' ability to work under very limited amount of time. The goal was to completely design a new logo and menu for a real restaurant by the end of class. After revisiting this project, I decided expand on my concept with a website and a mobile app as well as other materials.

  • University of St.Gallen: Knowledge Center
The University of St.Gallen in Switzerland is a higher educational institution and was founded as a "business academy" in 1898, making it one of the oldest universities of it's kind.

The Knowledge Center was created to inform students and alumni about certain keynotes such as publications, news, multimedia, etc. pertaining to offered subjects and courses. It's a place where people can search for valuable information, therefore the idea behind this web design is to give the impression of a library or bookcase of infinite knowledge, while maintaining the university's established branding.
